Notice of public meeting as required by M.G.L. Chpt.30A §18-28

Attendees of all public meetings should be aware of Massachusetts Recording Law M.G.L. Ch. 20A §20 (f)* if they are personally considering recording any part of a meeting or a meeting in its entirety. The listings of matters are those reasonably anticipated by the Chair 48 hours before said meeting, which may be discussed at the meeting.  Not all items listed may be discussed.  Items may be taken out of order and differ from those listed below.  Other items not listed may also be brought up for discussion to the extent permitted by law.

A.    Department of Public Works – Presentation of 2023-2024 private way snow applications

B.    Department of Public Works – Vote to approve Stormwater Asset Management Project contract with Tighe and Bond for $147,000

C.    Human Resources – Vote to approve of a Disclosure by a Municipal Employee of Financial Interest in a Municipal Contract, as required by MGL C268A, Section 20(b) for Tyler Strange seeking to work exemption for holding positions in the Parks, Recreation and Community Education Department and Littleton Public Schools

D.    Town Clerk – Vote to approve the request of the Friends of the Veterans’ to hang “Veteran Cards” on trees on the Littleton Town Common from Friday, November 24, 2023, through Tuesday, January 2, 2024



7:00 PM    4.    Public Input/Members’ Updates

Public Input will last for 10 minutes, and speakers are allowed to speak for no longer than 2 minutes.  Speakers addressing the Select Board are required to do so from the podium and provide name and address for the record, and all comments must be made through the Chair.


The Select Board will also provide updates, as warranted, on the following projects:

A.    Fire Department – Vote to appoint Sean Coffey as Deputy Fire Chief, at Grade 17, Step 7

B.    Police Department – Vote to appoint Douglas Landry as Police Lieutenant, at Grade 15, Step 8

C.    Economic Development Committee – Vote to appoint Sanjay Gowda to the Economic Development Committee

D.    Littleton Community Television (LCTV) Advisory Committee – Vote to appoint David K. Astolfi to the LCTV Advisory Committee




7:25 PM    6.    Select Board/Interim Town Administrator Updates

A.    Vote to approve of update to Select Board’s Regulations and Policies, Policy 3: Policy on Solicitation and Acceptance of Monetary and Non-Monetary Gifts for Public Purposes

B.    Discussion and/or vote to establish a Flag Policy to be added to the  Select Board’s Regulations and Policies

C.    Vote to renew lease with Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), Littleton Post 6556, through June 30, 2026

D.    Review, and potential vote, to authorize the Interim Town Administrator to approve  Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) regarding Masssworks Grants and/or Other Funding Agreements between the Littleton Select Board and 550 King Street LLC

E.    Review of Notification of Intent to Sell Land Pursuant to MGL c. 61A. Section 14, Buckley Road Littleton MA (33 Buckley Road) letter from Perkins and Anctil

F.    Vote to authorize the Interim Town Administrator, to award a contract to Nashoba Security, Inc., DBA, NSI Security, in the amount of $131,000 for an upgrade to the  access control and security system at the Littleton Police Department

A.    Approve the minutes of November 1, 2023 and November 6, 2023
