The Town Administrator, appointed by the Select Board for a three-year term, is the chief administrative officer of the Town government, responsible for the administration of all Town affairs placed under his authority. The Town Administrator supervises all town departments under the purview of the Select Board, and those requested by other boards and approved by the Select Board. By Town by-law, the Town Administrator appoints (subject to the Select Board's approval) the Assistant Town Administrator, the Director of Finance and Budget, Building Commissioner, Director of Public Works, Information Technology Director, Littleton Community Television Executive Director, Building Maintenance Supervisor, and Director of Elder and Human Services. The Town Administrator also appoints the Executive Assistant to the Town Administrator.
